The Principle
Unlike directories where vendors pay for top placement, every ranking on Apparel Stack is earned. Vendor profiles are free to claim and listings are free to maintain. There are no sponsored rankings, no paid placements, and no way for vendors to buy their way to the top.
How Products Are Ranked
By default, products are sorted by review count, so the most-reviewed products appear first. This rewards products that have earned the most real-world feedback from verified professionals.
Review Count
Default sort. Products with more verified reviews rank higher. This naturally surfaces products that the community uses and trusts.
Average Rating
Users can sort by average star rating. Ratings are calculated from all verified reviews and update in real time as new reviews are approved.
Category Filtering
Products are organized into categories relevant to the apparel industry. Within each category, the same ranking rules apply.
No Paid Boosts
There is no mechanism for vendors to pay for a higher position. No sponsored placements, no premium tiers, no bidding for visibility.
How Reviews Are Verified
Every review is submitted by a verified professional and manually reviewed before publication. We verify the reviewer's identity and their professional use of the product. Suspicious or vendor-solicited reviews are rejected.
